Three South African artists explore the concept of walls in South Africa. These walls are made by the whites in the suburbs to keep the black people out, they are the walls of credible security promised by gold and diamond jewellery, and they are the walls that are self imposed by tribal heritage.
Each artist working in their own medium, exploits the myth of the wall, showing the wall as liberator and the materials and culture vital to life outside the wall.
