Such history is revealed through study of works of art, through sudden changes of style and introduction of new motifs, and we peel back the layers of time through dialogue with experts on architecture, textiles, manuscripts, fine and decorative art.

We journey both through the traditional world of here and now, but also through the untraditional world of the mind and philosophy.
