Reproduction of Mass Production and Destruction - those are my main themes in my paintings. Most people from my country do not see the view of this world. I see it when I am inside of inside and outside of outside. Born in Japan and flushed out of my culture with my staying in United States of America enables me to see and be inspired by lots of things. If I had stayed in my country without seeing the outside of the world, that would have meant I would not have been able to see outside of myself. There is a mixture of unreasonable things and 100% pure thing in this box that I look out of. . I want to watch it all the way to the end tell everything to the world. Also I can feel an overflowing of lots of information from all over the world by staying in the U.S.A.

My meaning to paint is a message.

My meaning to paint is a reconstruction.

My meaning to paint is an appeal to be alive.

The view from Far East is always too far, but we can still catch a distinct global whole shape to the world - we just cannot see individual things as they happen. It is a very huge meaning to me that I can send my message to London and all over the world.
